Covers the construction, maintenance or renovation of punctual building operations required to carry out any human activity, direct or indirect, complete with the necessary structures, electromechanical, electrical, telephone and electronic systems and finishes of any kind as well as any related, complementary and ancillary works. It includes, by way of example, residences, prisons, schools, barracks, offices, theaters, stadiums, buildings for industries, parking buildings, railway and subway stations, airport buildings as well as any special reinforced concrete artifacts, simple or prestressed, cast in place such as thin vaults, domes, hanging tanks, silos and buildings of great height with structures of special characteristics and complexity.

Concerns the carrying out of a coordinated set of specialized works necessary to recover, conserve, consolidate, transform, restore, renovate, and subject to maintenance properties of historical interest subject to protection under the provisions on cultural and environmental heritage. It also concerns the construction in the buildings of electromechanical, electrical, telephone and electronic installations and finishes of any kind as well as any related, complementary and ancillary works.

Covers the construction, maintenance, or renovation of network interventions that are necessary to enable mobility by "road," "rail," and "air," whatever their degree of importance, complete with any related, complementary, or ancillary works, including those of a punctual nature, the related railway equipment, as well as all automatic, electromechanical, electrical, telephone, electronic, and traction equipment necessary to provide good service to the user in terms of use, information, safety, and assistance. It includes, by way of example, roads, whatever their degree of importance, highways, expressways, including such punctual works as special pavements, man-made tunnels, level or elevated interchanges, level parking lots, slope support works, embankments, railways of national and local interest, subways funiculars and tramways of any technical characteristic, airplane runways and heliport service aprons, stations, pavements made of special materials, natural and artificial, as well as bridges, even of complex technical characteristics, made of iron, simple or prestressed reinforced concrete, prefabricated or cast-in-place.

Covers the construction, maintenance or renovation of network interventions that are necessary to implement the "integrated water service" or to transport aeriform or liquid fluids to the points of use, complete with any related, complementary or ancillary works, even of the point type, and all electromechanical, mechanical, electrical, telephone and electronic installations necessary to provide good service to the user in terms of use, operation, information, safety and assistance to normal operation. It includes, by way of example, water catchment works, drinking water plants, aqueducts, piezometric towers, lifting plants, underground or elevated reservoirs, distribution network to the end user, equipped tunnels, supply and installation of pipelines, sewers with any material, treatment of wastewater before it is released into the natural cycle of the same, gas pipelines, oil pipelines.

Concerns the construction, maintenance or renovation of punctual works however constructed, in fresh and salt waters, which constitute terminals for mobility on "water" or works for the defense of the territory from the same fresh or salt waters, complete with any related, complementary or accessory works including punctual works and all electromechanical, electrical, telephone and electronic systems necessary to provide good service to the user in terms of use, operation, information, safety and assistance. It includes but is not limited to harbors, piers, docks, groynes, platforms, jetties, coastal defenses, reefs, submarine pipelines, outlets as well as dredging works in open sea or docks and those protecting against erosion of fresh or salt water.

Concerns the construction and maintenance or renovation of point and networked works, however built, necessary for the arrangement of natural or artificial watercourses as well as for the defense of the territory from said watercourses, complete with all related, complementary or accessory works, as well as all necessary electromechanical, electrical, telephone and electronic installations. It includes, by way of example, navigable canals, expansion basins, river mouth arrangements, consolidation of riverbed structures of rivers and streams, embankments of any kind, hydraulic arrangement and regimentation of surface waters, diaphragm works of embankment systems, crossbeams for diversions and works for slope stabilization.

Concerns the excavation, restoration and modification of volumes of earth, carried out by any means and whatever the nature of the soil to be excavated or restored: vegetable, clay, sand, gravel, rock.

Concerns the construction of works intended to transfer the loads of artifacts resting on soils unsuitable to support the loads themselves, works intended to give the soils such characteristics of strength and non-deformability as to make the impost of the artifacts stable and prevent geological instability, works to make existing and functioning structures earthquake-proof. It includes, by way of example, the execution of piles of any kind, subfoundations, special piles and retaining walls, anchorages, works to restore the static functionality of structures, wells, works to ensure the stability of slopes, and special works for draining, waterproofing and consolidating soils.

Covers the disassembly of industrial plants and the complete demolition of buildings with special equipment or with the use of explosives, the cutting of reinforced concrete structures, and demolition in general, including the collection of waste materials, their separation and possible recycling in the component industry.
